Download PwnageTool 3.1.5 To Jailbreak 3.1.3 OS For MAC Users

iphone Dev-team has released PwnageTool 3.1.5 for mac users, which can jailbreak iphone 3G 3GS 3.1.3 and iPod Touch 1G 2G 3.1.3.

Here are what Dev Team said:

If you have an iPhone 3GS, PwnageTool works if you’re currently at version 3.1.2 or below (down to 3.0).  You don’t need to be already jailbroken — PwnageTool will ask you if you’re jailbroken after you’ve created the IPSW.  Don’t use PwnageTool on the iPhone 3GS if you’re at 3.1.3, it just won’t work.  Downgrade to 3.1.2 using the methods described here.  If you can’t downgrade because you don’t have your 3GS 3.1.2 hashes on file with Cydia, you’ll need to sit out the 3.1.3 jailbreak.

We aren’t revealing any new exploits to Apple with this jailbreak. Everything here has been used before, it’s just a straightforward port of Pwnage2 and 24Kpwn to the new firmware.  It’s possible the new firmware was released largely to flush out new exploits before the next big release.  We won’t be biting.

1: Download iTunes 9.0.3
2: Downlaod iphone 3.1.3 Firmware
3: Download PwnageTool 3.1.5
4: Start PwnageTool 3.1.5 and select your device(iphone, iPod)

5: PwnageTool 3.1.5 will now automatically detect the correct firmware for your device .

6: Click on "NO" when PwnageTool asks you "Do you have an iphone contract that would activate normally through itunes?" 

Note: If you will click on "yes" it will update your baseband to the latest version and you will stuck. Click on "yes" if you are on official carrier.
7:  PwnageTool will now create the custom .ipsw file for your iphone which will be jailbroken.

8:  "ihaz Success" screen will apear and confirm you that the requested (.ipsw) file has been created succefully. 

 9: When (.ipsw) file has been created, you will now have to restore your device with 3.1.3 that you have cooked with PwnageTool 3.1.5. (open itunes and select you device, now press and hold "alt+shift" and then click on "Restore" button and after that release the "Shift" button.
Note: Do not press "Update or ?"Check for Update buttons") .
This will open the browse window to select the location for your downloaded custom firmware 3.1.3. Select that cooked (.ipsw) file and click open.
10: Now itunes will do the rest for you.
