This exploit was sent to iphone Dev-Team and they have confirmed that it is working. Discovery of this baseband 05.12.01 exploit is a good news for unlockers and those who have accidentally upgraded their devices to iphone 3.1.3 OS baseband 05.12.01. Sherif_hashim has said that 5.12.01 unlock release is totally the dev team opinion. I am not sure but may be dev-team wait for the major release of FW or iphone 4G before releasing any tool.
