iPhone 4G To Be Cheaper Than Its Predecessors

May be Apple is going to offer a cheaper iPhone this June. Analyst expect the iPhone 4G to have a lower cost of ownership, which means that the iPhone 4G will become even cheaper in stores and more people will be able to adopt it.

Katy Huberty from Morgan Stanley wrote about the new iPhone:

"We expect Apple to launch new iPhones in june that offer both a  lower total cost of ownership and new functionality, potentially including gesture-based technology."

Last year when Apple launched iPhone 3GS, They had reduced the price of previous year's iPhone 3G to $99.
Despite the lower price point , the iphone 3GS was still the most popular option for customers.
