Motorola Profits and Sales Enhanced by 600% in Q2 Over Last Year

Motorola Q2 profits boosted by an overwhelming 600% in comparison to same quarter last year, thanks to the launch of Droid. Motorola managed to ship 8.3 million phones in the last three months thrashing both own and various analyst's estimations.


The profit earned during the same period is 1$62 million compared to mere $26 million last year. This doesn't include the sales of Droid X which is likely to shoot up the profits even further. The next quarter that is Q3 is expected to be even better for Motorola as the estimates are about 30% more profits for company.
